Jeanne Michels and Phyllis Murphy's The Queen of Bingo explores the worlds of Bingo, family ties, diet crazes, widowhood, hot flashes and winning! The audience joins in the fun during the "Middle Bird Special" - a real Bingo game where some lucky audience member wins a prize at every performance! The Queen of Bingo features two New Vic veterans who have become a favorite duo of Kalamazoo audiences. Jennifer Furney and Lisa Ouellette have recently been featured at The New Vic in Parallel Lives and the sequel Unparalleled Lives, sketch comedy at its finest. In the “Lives” productions Lisa and Jennifer tackled the challenging task of playing over 30 characters of varying ages, genders and backgrounds.


Now in The Queen of Bingo audiences can watch this talented comedy duo expertly bring these two hilarious characters to life with focused attention. Making for a truly enjoyable evening of entertainment.


The Queen of Bingo opens March 30 and plays Fridays and Saturdays through April 21 at The New Vic.
